Stephen is an integrative therapist using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques, a talking therapy that can help manage problems by changing the way you think and behave. It's most commonly used to treat anxiety, stress and depression, but can be useful for other mental and physical health problems. He has worked with charities, higher education and local authorities and has been in private practice since 2007 with experience across a broad range of areas of counselling. An initial assessment to determine your counselling needs and expectations can be arranged by telephone or face to face.

Stephen is a humanistic, integrative, counsellor respecting and valuing your uniqueness as an individual and working with you to identify your counselling needs. He has a warm and welcoming approach offering an empathic, non-judgemental and confidential space for you to explore and understand your issues.

He works with a wide range of concerns including anger management, depression, anxiety, abuse, low self-esteem, interpersonal relationships, disability, personal and work related stress, low self-confidence, trauma, Aspergerís syndrome, bereavement, identity, sexual identity, sexuality and spirituality.

Located near the centre of the village of Botley, Hampshire, the consultation is conducted in comfortable and private accommodation. There is car parking for your vehicle on the premises and the location is just 3 miles from junction 7 of the M27. Botley railway station is a 10-15 minute walk away. A number of bus services stop within approximately 5 minutes walk of the location.
